Application : HVAC

The aim of the French city of Toulouse was to modernize its heating system of more than 350 boilers to make significant energy savings while continuing to offer top-level services to customers. It therefore decided to implement a Remote Management system.

 

   

 
More than 200 boilers are currently equipped with RTUs.

The municipal Technical Department especially appreciated the long-term viability and ease of use SOFREL equipment.
As a result, Toulouse reduced energy costs by:

  • 40% in buildings occupied intermittently (schools, …),
  • 20% in office buildings.

This strong policy for modernizing and streamlining the management of Toulouse's heating system gave highly satisfactory results.
A survey revealed that the energy consumption of the secondary buildings was 15% lower than the French average.
