A DMA system consists of:
District Metering GSM Data loggers (placed in manholes) connected to meters or flowmeters. These units monitor volumes and flowrates, including the nighttime flowrate (NFM), which is one of the key DMA indicators. They send their data to the SCADA Central Station each day.
A SCADA Central Station which receives the data recorded by the SOFREL LS GSM Data loggers, via SMS. Each day, it analyzes the data arriving from the metered DMA's, in order to detect any leaks that may appear.
