Based on a solid knowledge of water networks and on significant research and development resources, SOFREL LS places its innovations at the service of improved water network efficiency.
Connected to meters or flowmeters suitably positioned at strategic points on the water network, it provides operators with information concerning the behavior of each monitored zone and detects the possible presence of leaks or flow problems.
An accomplished industrial product
SOFREL LS has been specifically designed for installation in a manhole. Its robust design and "military" grade connections ensure total water-tightness (IP68). Powered by a lithium battery, LS offers an operating autonomy of several years (up to 10 years). Its GSM or GPRS communication mode, using SMSs, makes use of a high performance antenna specifically designed for underground installation in a manhole.
Designed according to an industrial process and manufactured in accordance with the most demanding quality standards, the LS DMA Datalogger is covered by a 3-year guarantee.
Though totally watertight, it provides operators with very easy access to the SIM card and to the battery for replacement.
Business functions
Configuration is made easy thanks to a particularly user-friendly configuration Wizard. Once placed in the manhole, LS records the metering data. It also calculates average flowrates, daily volumes, along with nighttime, min. and max, flowrates. Archived values (meterings, measurements, daily reports) are sent each day by SMS to the SCADA Central Station for processing.
Innovative operator interfaces
LACROIX Sofrel has endeavored to offer a product that is very easy to set up and use, based on new technologies. Wake-up for servicing is achieved using an activation key. Once activated, different-colored LEDs allow a visual diagnostic of power on/off, SIM card presence, connection to the GSM network and reception level. Very handy, the Bluetooth connection allows technicians to alter the configuration, even from outside the manhole. It is also possible to conduct GSM communication tests (search for GSM operator offering the best cover, LS positioning test, etc.). |
